Contact us

Email support@tour-savannah.com. We typically respond within one business day. Please include your access code (or the email you used at checkout) so we can find your purchase quickly.

Recovering a lost code

If you can't find the email with your access code, you can request a recovery link.

  1. Go to /recover and enter the email address you used at checkout.
  2. Check that inbox for a message from us with a one-time recovery link. If it isn't in your inbox within a couple of minutes, check the spam or promotions folder.
  3. Open the link within 30 minutes. It lands on a page listing every code on that email address with its current state (active, expired, depleted).
  4. Pick an active code, copy it, and head to /redeem to start your tour.

Used a different email at checkout than the one you usually check? Try every address you might have used. If nothing turns up, email support@tour-savannah.com and we'll help track down the purchase.

Frequently asked questions

How long do I have to use my access code?

The 2-hour tour is valid for 26 hours from purchase; the 8-hour tour is valid for 56 hours. Read our refund policy.

When do my minutes count down?

Only while your guide is connected. Pause for lunch, a museum stop, or a nap and the meter stops, but the wall-clock window keeps running. Disconnect when you're done; reconnect when you're ready to keep going.

What can I ask the guide about?

Anything Savannah: squares, churches, river history, ghost lore, where to grab coffee, what makes a Greek Revival a Greek Revival. The guide pulls from a curated knowledge base of the historic district and answers in natural language. You can interrupt, change the subject, and ask follow-ups freely.

Does the walking tour need GPS?

Yes. Walking mode uses GPS to place you on the map and trigger arrival narration at landmarks. If you'd rather stay seated, the desktop mode doesn't need GPS at all.

What does the walking tour need access to?

Location (to place you on the map and trigger landmark stories as you arrive) and microphone (so you can talk to your guide hands-free). Learn more about the information we collect on our privacy statement.

Does the tour use a lot of data?

It can. Your guide streams live video and audio the whole time you're connected, on top of the map and GPS, so expect it to use a fair amount of data. On a walking tour you'll be on your cellular network, and standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. On a computer, a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection keeps the stream smooth. Either way, disconnecting between stops pauses both your minutes and your data use.

What does the desktop tour need access to?

Just your microphone, so you can speak hands-free. Nothing is recorded; audio is only used to drive live conversation while you're on this page.

Can I use the same code on my phone for walking AND on my computer for desktop mode?

Yes, but one device at a time. Switching to the phone ends any active desktop session, and vice versa. The 26h / 56h wall-clock window applies regardless of which device you connect from.

What if I ran out of minutes mid-tour?

You'll be taken to a wrap-up page that thanks you for the tour. From there you can purchase more time or enter another code. No partial refunds.
